Faculty mentoring program offers tools, resources and more

Applications for fall now being accepted

The University of Delaware Faculty Achievement Program (UDFAP) provides tools, resources, strategies, workshops and accountability measures to help faculty achieve their scholarly goals.

Sponsored by the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs, the program is open to all faculty – full-time, part-time, postdocs and adjunct – at every rank and every track.

This small group mentoring program, comprised of four faculty members and one mentor, will meet for one hour, weekly, during the fall semester. Participants will set goals, report on progress, discuss strategies to navigate academic challenges and celebrate accomplishments.

Designed to create a supportive community, the program is designed enhance faculty productivity and satisfaction, develop and sustain participants’ daily writing practice and build mentoring networks and career pathways, while leveraging UD’s institutional membership in the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity (NCFDD).
