Dining Services announces program improvements for spring semester

Based on feedback received from University of Delaware students through the annual DiningStyles Survey and the day-to-day Your Voice Counts survey, Dining Services has made several program improvements effective this spring.

A new meal period for late night service at Russell and Pencader Dining has been added that allows students to dine during both dinner and late night. Additionally, late night at Pencader Dining will now have the same hours as Russell Dining. Late night at both dining locations will be available 8-11 p.m., Monday – Thursday.

Like the Unlimited plan, students with a residential 155 Block plan may now use their 155 meals anytime throughout the semester and are no longer restricted to one meal per meal period. These plans provide students ultimate flexibility to use meals on their own schedules.

Students with a residential 12 Weekly plan can only use one meal per meal period which provides structure and peace of mind knowing 12 meals are set each week.

Meal periods are designated meal times in the residential dining locations and they align with each locations’ specific hours. Monday through Friday, students can eat during breakfast, continental breakfast (Caesar Rodney Fresh Food Company only), lunch, dinner and late night (Russell and Pencader Dining only). On weekends, students can enjoy continental breakfast, brunch and dinner.

Dining Services’ website, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts continue to be a resource for information on meal plans, on-campus dining locations and their hours, residential dining menus and more.
