Now through Friday, Feb. 22, University of Delaware students can select or change their meal plan for spring semester by visiting www.udel.edu/diningrequest, within UDSIS. All students living in an on-campus residence hall are required to purchase a residential meal plan. Students living off campus, in the Christiana Towers apartments or graduate student and family housing are not required to purchase a meal plan but still have the option to sign up for a residential or optional meal plan.

Students who are required to have a residential meal plan and are interested in more dining points can upgrade to a Plus or Double Plus plan, which include $15 and $30 bonus points, respectively.

Students eligible for an optional meal plan, who purchase a 25 or 50 Anytime plan, will receive double points and five guest meals for free. The 25 Anytime plan will come with 25 meals, 130 points (previously 65 points) and five guest meals; and the 50 Anytime plan will come with 50 meals, 280 points (previously 140 points) and five guest meals.

Dining Ambassadors will be stationed around campus during the first two weeks of the semester to answer questions and to help students select their meal plan. Students who upgrade their residential meal plan or sign up for an optional meal plan at a Dining Services’ tabling are eligible to receive a “Freefills” reusable tumbler, which provides complimentary beverages, including hot and iced coffee, from on-campus dining locations throughout the entire semester. The Freefills reusable tumblers will only be available while supplies last.
