Welcome to the Wellbeing Neighborhood at UD!
Our three wellbeing units—Student Health Services (SHS), Student Wellness and Health Promotion (SWHP) and the Center for Counseling and Student Development (CCSD)—are here to help you thrive both mentally and physically in your time as a Blue Hen and beyond. Come visit us on the South Green for all of your wellness needs!

Student Wellbeing is Here for You this Summer!
You do not have to be enrolled in Summer Session classes to use Student Wellbeing Services over the summer.
Services Available
June 1–August 14
If you have the university's Student Health Insurance Plan, your insurance is active until August 14, even if you graduated in May!
Summer Costs
Students will be charged a one-time Summer Wellbeing Fee ($98) that encompasses all on-campus Wellbeing appointments over the summer.
Physical Health
- SHS is open all summer, Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
- Services include primary care, sexual health services, nutrition, immunizations, allergy injections, lab, dispensary
Mental Health
- CCSD is open all summer for counseling, psychiatric, substance use and other services
- Hours:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
- Thursday, 11 a.m.–3 p.m.
- Friday, 9 a.m.–2 p.m.
- TimelyCare virtual mental healthcare remains available to all students 24/7 anywhere in the U.S. and many international locations
- Students who graduated have access to TimelyCare for 60 days after graduation.
