About Us
Career Education is a Journey, not a Destination
The UD Career Center is dedicated to empowering every student to design a meaningful and fulfilling life. Guided by the Life Design framework, we recognize that each student brings a unique set of experiences, goals and challenges. Working to reduce barriers to career exploration and success, we equip students with the tools, skills and confidence to navigate their personal and professional journeys.
We believe that career development is not a one-size-fits-all process. By providing access to a wide range of resources, experiences and connections, we help students build agency, explore possibilities and take intentional steps toward lives of purpose and impact. Our commitment is to ensure that every Blue Hen feels supported, valued and prepared to thrive—wherever their path may lead.
The UD Career Center is part of the Division of Student Life and embraces the University’s commitment to diversity and inclusive excellence and the effort to drive holistic development through education, experiences and communities.
