The Career Center offers a variety of career fairs and meetups throughout the academic year. We offer boutique events based on our industry focused communities to bring talented Blue Hens and employers together. Most events are open to all matriculated UD students and alumni. Come connect with talented undergraduate and graduate students as well as alumni to fill available job and internship positions, build professional networks and create meaningful connections.
This in-person event will be split into two spaces: Spring Career & Internship Fair and Engineering, Science & Technology Fair. We will ask you to choose a fair location - but don't worry, you will be able to advertise by major, career community and with the available opportunities listed within Handshake to reach all attending students! The fairs are only separated by a small hallway which will allow students to easily access both fairs!

Cancellations must be received in writing to Melissa Zeissig. Should cancellation not be submitted in the above terms, no refund or excuse from payment will be issued.
- Cancellation prior to 1/27/23 at 5 p.m.:
100% refund or no expectation of payment. - Cancellation between 1/27/23 at 5 p.m. – 2/03/23 at 5 p.m.:
75% refund or expectation of 25% payment. - Cancellation after 2/03/23 at 5 p.m.:
no refund will be issued and full payment is due.
Should the Spring Career & Internship Fairs be cancelled due to inclement weather, the fair will be rescheduled to a new date within 10 days of the original date. Depending on space availability on campus, the event may be rescheduled to a virtual Handshake fair format. Should an employer not be able to attend the rescheduled date, refunds or advancing registration to a future fair will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
The UD Career Center may cancel any one or more employer registrations for any reason. In doing so, it may elect to consider only its own interests and will not be required to consider the effect of any such cancellation. Should cancellation be initiated by the Career Center, a full refund of the registration fee will be provided.

This in-person event will be split into two spaces: the Spring Career & Internship Fair and the Engineering, Science & Technology Fair.

Hospitality Business Management Career Fair
Tuesday, February 21, 2023 | 2:30–5 p.m.
About the Event
The University of Delaware’s Hospitality Business Management Career Fair is open to employers interested in networking with undergraduate students for summer internships and career placement after graduation.
This career fair will be attended by students in the Department of Hospitality and Sport Business Management. Meet students in our majors: Hospitality Business Management (HOSP) and Hospitality Industry Management (HSIM), as well as our minors: Beverage Management, Event Management and Restaurant Management. In addition, it is open to all students in the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics.

The Careers in Professional Selling Networking Meetup is open to employers interested in hiring students working in sales or sales management within your organization.
Students will have the opportunity to interact with your representatives and learn about careers in professional selling and sales management, as well as internship paths and applying for jobs.

Professional selling minor, marketing, international business, management, business undeclared, university studies, operations management, entrepreneurship, finance, economics and financial planning.

Join us for this free virtual networking and recruiting event connecting employers and alumni in advertising, branding, communications, graphic design media, public relations and media with students who are seeking career advice, internships, freelance gigs and full-time jobs.

*Employers are at a disadvantage when they fail to create a schedule by 2/21/23 when student registration opens. Late schedule creation results in less overall student sign-ups for the organization. Employers who do not have a schedule created by 2/28/23 at 5 p.m. will have their registration declined and will not participate in the event.*

Experiential Learning for the Health Professions Meetup
Monday, March 13, 2023 | 5–6:30 p.m.
About the Event
The Experiential Learning for the Health Professions Meetup is intended to inform students interested in healthcare about ways to gain exposure to the various professions. Many pre-health students need volunteer, shadowing and direct service care hours in order to apply to programs. Your advice and experience can help!
Cost
Participation in this event is complimentary for organizations. If you are no longer able to participate, please let us know in writing to Melissa Zeissig as soon as possible and no later than February 24, 2023.
Should you register, but not attend the event, you will be invoiced $100.00 to cover the resources allotted to your organization.
Do you need volunteer, shadowing and patient care experience hours?
This event is designed to help you learn about careers in healthcare and find experiential opportunities in the field. Students interested in careers in healthcare need shadowing and patient care experience hours.

Education Meetup
Monday, April 3, 2023 | 4–5:30 p.m.
About the Event
Take this opportunity to network with undergraduate and graduate students and candidates. Reach both those who are just beginning to explore the possibilities of a career in education, as well as graduating students and alumni hoping to learn about current or anticipated vacancies.
Help support the profession! Encourage undecided students to consider education majors, choose careers in PK-12 education and pursue job opportunities in this industry. Employers are welcome to include UD alumni working in your schools or districts to talk with students about their experiences.
Top majors attending will include: Elementary Teacher Education, Early Childhood Education and Secondary Teacher Education.
Cost
Participation in this event is complimentary for organizations. If you are no longer able to participate, please let us know in writing to Melissa Zeissig as soon as possible and no later than March 27, 2023.
Should you register, but not attend the event, you will be invoiced $100.00 to cover the resources allotted to your organization.
This event is open to ALL undergraduate, graduate students, alumni and the general public who are considering careers in PK–12 education!
Participate in this networking event to learn about the many different opportunities in education: teachers, counselors, para-educators, administrators, specialists and more! Whether you're just beginning to consider careers in education and need more information, or you're graduating soon and hope to learn about anticipated vacancies for the upcoming schools year, this event is for you!

Physical Therapy Career Fair
Friday, April 21, 2023 | 1–3 p.m.
About the Event
The UD Physical Therapy program produces high quality individuals that have been trained to translate a strong platform in interdisciplinary science into health practices, therapies and interventions that result in immediate improvements in people's lives. Many of these skilled students have received awards and scholarships in recognition of their accomplishments. The Physical Therapy Career Fair offers your institution an opportunity to interact with these talented, award-winning students and match them appropriately to the needs of your organization. UD undergraduate students seeking volunteer and shadowing hours will also be in attendance.
Schedule:
- 9–11:30 a.m.: Employer check-in with breakfast snack included
- 10:30–11:30 a.m.: Continuing education (CEU) opportunity - more details coming soon!
- 11:30–12:15 p.m.: Employer fair setup and lunch box
- 12:15–1 p.m.: Open networking with second-year DPT students over professional and career readiness topics
- 1–2 p.m.: Career fair with second-year DPT students and UD PT Alumni
- 2–3 p.m.: Career fair with first-year DPT, UD PT alumni and undergraduate students
