Festival of Nations to co-launch International Education Week

All are welcome to celebrate cultures from around the world at the 2025 Festival of Nations

The University of Delaware English Language Institute (ELI) is helping to launch International Education Week with the 2025 Festival of Nations on Friday, Nov. 14, in the Trabant University Center Multipurpose Room.

Along with a slate of campus events aimed at celebrating international education over the next week, the Festival of Nations is the ELI’s annual celebration of the many cultures, languages and talents that make up UD’s international community. This year’s festival will once again feature three exciting segments: a culture fair, a fashion show and a talent showcase. Students representing more than two dozen countries will share their traditions through music, dance, clothing and cultural displays.

This free event, running from 5:30-9 p.m., will co-launch International Education Week alongside the Center for Global Programs and Services’ International Coffee Hour, which takes place in Trabant directly before the Festival of Nations and will celebrate international student stories.
