About Open Teaching Days:
Open Teaching Days is an event where UD faculty open their classrooms to other UD faculty and staff who observe their teaching in action. This fall, we aim to showcase various approaches to active learning and student engagement across the university. We are excited to welcome faculty across UD to open their classrooms and represent the diversity of teaching that happens at UD.

This year we are pleased to bring back a brown bag lunch on the last day of the event, Friday, October 16, 2026 from 12:00 - 1:30pm. Bring your lunch to the CILLT office (83 E. Main St. Newark, DE) and enjoy lively and engaging pedagogical discussions with your colleagues!
