Tech Talk Tuesday | Tech & Teaching: AI Projects Around Campus
November 05, 2026
Registration is open for the Nov. 17 session, 12:30 to 2 p.m., at the Research Computing Commons.
Join us for our next Tech Talk Tuesday session as Ellen Monk and Mark Serva, Lerner College faculty, and Jevonia Harris and Joseph Naccarato, software engineers with UD’s Center for Innovation in Lifelong Learning and Teaching (CILLT), share their progress on AI projects focused on instruction and research.
Prompted, Not Pushed: AI on YOUR Terms. Ellen and Mark created a faculty development course that helps instructors explore generative AI in their teaching and research. The course offers ready-to-try prompts so participants can experiment freely.
Study AiDE’s next chapter. The team behind Study AiDE, UD’s AI-powered study tool, is expanding its impact and leveraging the platform's foundation to support emerging federated learning research. Federated learning lets universities collaborate to train AI models for education without sharing their data.
We’re on STAR Campus for November! The session takes place Nov. 17 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at UDIT’s Research Computing Commons (RCC), 550 S. College Ave., Suite 100. Attendees will get to see the RCC, a growing hub for research computing expertise, collaboration, and technology-enabled innovation at UD.
Lunch will be provided courtesy of ITUE and CILLT. We are grateful to ITUE for their sponsorship.
