Faculty Senate October meeting

Faculty discuss philanthropic gifts, artificial intelligence and other topics

The University of Delaware Faculty Senate met on Monday, Oct. 6, in Purnell Hall.

Interim President Laura Carlson shared feedback from the Becoming OneUD initiative and discussed other topics, and Interim Provost Bill Farquhar provided an update on fall enrollment. The Senate discussed artificial intelligence in the classroom, as well as the issues of academic freedom and philanthropic gifts.
