August 28, 2025
Registration open for September-December workshops for educators
The UD community is invited to join the fall 2025 Reimagining PedAIgogy: AI Literacy for Educators series. This collaborative initiative, offered through UD Information Technologies, the Library, Museums and Press, and UD community and other external higher education partners, provides practical insights for integrating AI into academic and professional environments.
These workshops are open to all instructors, researchers, teaching assistants and staff, offering virtual sessions that explore various aspects of AI application in education.
The series kicks off Sept. 30 and Oct. 8 with two engaging sessions:
Partnering with AI: Promoting Literacy, AI Frameworks and Building Collaborative AI Policies
Tuesday, Sept. 30, 12-1:30 p.m.
In this hands-on workshop, educators will learn how to co-create AI policies with their students, fostering a sense of shared responsibility and agency in how AI is integrated into the classroom.. Participants will practice designing engaging classroom activities for AI boundary-setting while incorporating intentional assignment design that prioritizes transparency over detection.
Engaged Literacy: Crafting AI-Assisted Interactive Materials
Wednesday, Oct. 8, 12-1:15 p.m.
This workshop empowers participants to design interactive AI literacy materials using Poll Everywhere and Padlet. Through collaborative activities, attendees will develop pedagogical strategies including scenario-based learning, decision-making games, and case studies that make AI literacy more engaging.
Don't miss this chance to engage with colleagues across the University and explore how AI can support and enhance your work.
