UD graduate students present research on the forefront of issues in financial health
The University of Delaware Graduate College invites everyone to engage with some of UD’s most innovative research at the Spark! in 5 Symposium, Thursday, April 18, from 4-7 p.m. at the new Fintech Innovation Hub on UD’s Science, Technology and Advanced Research (STAR) Campus.
Five UD graduate students will give five-minute talks that address the spring 2024 theme, "Advancing Financial Health: Technologies, Literacy, Access, Policies and Implementation."

- James Korman, College of Arts and Sciences, political science and international relations
- Connor Onweller, College of Engineering, computer science
- Marrea Walker-Smith, Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics, economics and entrepreneurship for educators
The Spark! in 5 Symposium is a collaboration between the Graduate College and the Fintech Innovation Hub, UD’s national center of excellence in education, research and workforce development that leverages the region’s expertise and assets to address broad challenges in financial health.
