Beets, Beats and Eats: A fight against food insecurity

Graduate Percussion Group's project to help keep food on the table

The Graduate Percussion Group is excited to announce its concert/project "Beets, Beats, and Eats" on Tuesday, Nov. 28, at 8 p.m. in Loudis Recital Hall. This concert will be fighting against food insecurity by holding a food drive for the month of November.

The group has set out boxes all around the Amy E. Dupont music building where donors can conveniently drop off any non-perishable food items and personal hygiene products.

These donations will be directly given to UD's "Blue Hen Bounty," which provides free food to the entire campus community. Monetary donations can also be made online.

Blue Hen Bounty has expressed that its shelves have been empty nearly every day, so let's help the community fight against hunger.
