Awards recognize student leaders and registered student organizations for their accomplishments during the academic year

The University of Delaware hosted the 21st annual YoUDee Leadership Awards on Thursday, May 11 in Trabant University Center.

The YoUDee Leadership Awards are held annually to recognize student leaders and registered student organizations (RSOs) for their accomplishments during the academic year. Nominations are accepted for individual awards, as well as organization awards.

For the 2022-23 academic year, more than 150 nominations were submitted across all award categories and 47 awards were granted. Winners were chosen by a selection committee that reads and reviews all submissions.

“It was not easy making the decisions this year, but I’m excited that we had the chance to celebrate all nominees and award winners this year,” said Emily Fry, associate director of programming with University Student Centers, which is part of the Division of Student Life. “Without our students, UD’s campus wouldn’t be the engaging and vibrant place that it is. I hope that these awards help to celebrate achievements, encourage our current student leaders to continue to do the great work they already do and inspire our incoming student leaders to get involved on campus.”
