Mac N' Cheese Lovers Rejoice!

8Myles Mac N' Cheese Bowls coming to Pencader Dining this semester
Saturdays at Pencader are for the bowls! Bowls of 8Myles Mac N’ Cheese, that is.
From 5-8:30 p.m. this Saturday, March 12, UD alum Myles Powell is bringing his three-cheese taste of home and entrepreneurial spirit to Pencader. He will be introducing his customizable 8Myles Mac N’ Cheese to Pencader’s Global Station, hosting giveaways and interacting with any students who are too full to keep their mouths stuffed. And trust me, his food is worth traveling miles to taste – or, at least the mile and a half from East Campus to North.
Powell is a food-loving force you don’t want to miss. For Powell, it started with his family, a group of hardworking entrepreneurs who, despite the hustle, always found time to gather around the table for daily meals. Even after moving out and graduating from UD with a degree in engineering, Powell was sure to build food into his life and brought his STEM degree to the kitchen by continually experimenting with new recipes.
His BBQ sauce savvy eventually took him from his childhood home to the spotlight of Food Network’s America’s Best Cook. From there, it was only bigger, bolder and better. In 2015, 8Myles was born, and Powell's products are now featured in Target and Whole Foods stores up and down the East Coast.
8Myles Mac N’ Cheese is not like the microwavable cups stacked under your dorm room bed. 8Myles Mac N’ Cheese boasts less sodium than most other leading brands and features all-natural ingredients, gourmet cheese, 16 grams of protein, and 2 grams of fiber.
If you can’t make it this Saturday, don’t worry. While Powell will be gone, his cheesy legacy will be served every Saturday in Pencader for you and your UD family to take a break from the hustle, sit down and enjoy.
