Spring 2023 Professional and Continuing Studies catalog available

The spring 2023 program guide from the University of Delaware’s Division of Professional and Continuing Studies (UD PCS) is now available online.

Along with listing upcoming business, healthcare and IT courses, the publication highlights the resources and services UD PCS provides, such as customized learning programs designed and implemented in collaboration with businesses and organizations to help meet their employee development goals.

Also included are four recently launched professional development programs: Cybersecurity Fundamentals, Advanced Cybersecurity Defense, Instructional Design, and Foundations of Brewing Science and Brewery Operations.

Most programs are offered online, with financial assistance options like scholarships, payment plans or discounts. Many are eligible for funding through the Elevate Delaware program, for eligible employees of Delaware businesses or organizations with fewer than 51 employees, funded through the Delaware Department of Labor.

The publication also highlights career resources available to UD PCS certificate program participants, including career coaching, resume review, mock interviewing, networking events, and internship and job databases.

UD PCS provides educational opportunities for anyone — including UD employees — seeking to begin or complete their college education, enhance professional skills or enrich their personal lives. Programs include UD credit courses and degrees, professional development programs, and lifelong learning member cooperatives throughout the state.

The public and the UD community are invited to learn about programs at a free online information session Jan. 12 at 7 p.m. For details or to view the catalog, please visit the website.
