Amanda Steiner, vice president of operations for Aramark and UD Dining Services, said, “Robin had a passion and commitment to excellence that made her a role model and support within our organization. She will be greatly missed and no one will match her unwavering commitment to everything she touched.”

Eric Bringman, resident district manager at UD, said, “Robin was a passionate leader, a foodie and generous with her time outside of work with the local community. Everyone who has met Robin walked away knowing that UD Dining, the University of Delaware and all the people here had a special place in her heart. She will be greatly missed by all, and her legacy of passionate leadership, great food and community development will continue by those who worked by her side.”

April S. Williams, sous chef at UD, said, “Robin has left a strong legacy that will never be forgotten. She taught me so much, and most of it was without saying a word but by her actions. I will cherish the memories, mentorship and leadership forever.”

This September, Ms. Moore would have marked her 38th year with Aramark. She came to UD in 1999 as a food service director and was named director of operations here in 2008.

Born in Greenwich, Connecticut, she earned her bachelor’s degree in hotel management from Widener University and then joined Aramark.

Her obituary notes, “Anyone who knew Robin knew that she had a strong work ethic, was incredibly kindhearted and was always the source of positivity. This was true in her professional life as well as her private life. Robin was passionate about her family, her friends, cooking, fine dining and vacations with the ‘Zeta girls.’”
