Additional community COVID-19 testing offered on campus March 7, 9

New campus location, additional days added to schedule

Two new community COVID-19 testing opportunities are coming to the University of Delaware campus this month. These new opportunities are in addition to the weekly testing available each Friday on the Laird Campus and each Saturday on the STAR Campus.

An additional drive-through testing day will be added on the STAR Campus starting Sunday, March 7, and walk-up testing will be available in the Hollingsworth parking lot on North College and Cleveland avenues on Tuesday, March 9.

The new drive-through testing on the STAR Campus will be available from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Sundays, March 7, 14 and 21. While this is a drive-through event, students without a vehicle on campus may walk up to the event. Register for this testing event here.

The walk-up testing in the Hollingsworth lot will be available from 11 a.m.-7 p.m., Tuesday, March 9. Register for this testing event here.

Information on a variety of upcoming “pop-up” testing events in the area this month is available at this website.

In addition, testing is regularly available near the campus at Newark Urgent Care on Main Street, the Hudson Service Center, 501 Ogletown Rd., Newark, from 8:30 a.m.-noon, Monday through Friday; and at Walgreens in the Four Seasons Plaza, south of Newark on Route 896, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., daily.

A full list of COVID-19 testing locations can be viewed at de.gov/gettested.

As a reminder, UD’s on-site testing at Harker ISE Lab and Clayton Hall is for students living on campus and for essential employees. Tests are by appointment only, with no walk-ups.
