Tuition Exchange Program Applications Open
August 13, 2021
Apply by Oct. 27
Faculty and staff applications for the Tuition Exchange Program’s (TEP) 2022-23 academic year scholarships are now open. Those interested should apply through the Educational Benefits webform by Oct. 27, 2021.
What You Need To Know
TEP is a reciprocal scholarship opportunity for dependents of eligible faculty and staff at more than 600 Tuition Exchange Inc. member schools nationwide, including the University of Delaware. The consortium grants the TEP scholarships following an extensive review process including evaluation of academic standing.
If a scholarship is awarded, full or partial tuition is waived for a full-time matriculated undergraduate dependent child. A student may be granted a scholarship up to four years. (Submitting an application and subsequent acceptance to a participating school does not guarantee that a TEP scholarship will be awarded.)
To participate in the TEP, UD employees must work full-time and have a minimum of two years of eligible University service as of Oct. 31 of the year in which they submit TEP applications. Retirees who meet UD age and service requirements are also eligible.
This program may be used in conjunction with the UD's Tuition Remission program and counts toward the maximum two requests for that program.
How To Apply
- Log in to webforms
- Select “BEN Education Benefits”
- In the menu choice, choose Tuition Exchange Program. (Dependent children may apply to one or more participating institutions.)
- At least one school must be entered on the Tuition Exchange webform
A scholarship lottery drawing will be held on Oct. 29, 2021. To be included in the lottery, participants must submit a TEP webform by Oct. 27, 2021. Participants will be contacted via email the following Monday confirming their lottery number.
