All UD employees are invited to three special events this month to “ReHENergize with Working at UD” and prepare for the fall semester with opportunities to connect and engage.

Sponsored by Working at UD and campus administration, these activities will include everything from guest speakers and panel discussions to tours to swag boxes to live music to an appearance by the YoUDee spirit team and a night out for the family to watch the UD women’s soccer team.

“Re-Connect with UD” is the theme of the first event, scheduled from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 18, in the Audion and Atrium at the Tower at STAR Campus. This event is designed to give new and returning employees the opportunity to get acclimated -- and re-acclimated -- to the campus.

“Show your UD Spirit” is the theme of the second event, scheduled at 7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 19. Faculty and staff along with family and friends are invited to attend the Delaware women’s soccer team play George Mason at Stuart and Suzanne Grant Stadium. Admission and parking are free, and the first 200 UD employees (and families and friends) will receive a UD water bottle.

“Re-Connect with One Another” is the theme for the third event, scheduled from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Friday, Aug. 20, outdoors on Mentors’ Circle. Faculty and staff will be able to socialize, play games, listen to live music and have lunch. Make sure to bring a folding chair, beach towel or picnic blanket
