More AI sessions to explore
This spring's Reimagining PedAIgogy series continues with more practical strategies to make AI work for you. Join Academic Technology Services, the Library and campus partners for two hands-on virtual sessions starting April 8. These virtual sessions are open to all instructors, researchers, teaching assistants and staff. The upcoming sessions will be hosted in partnership with Wake Forest University, giving you the chance to learn and connect with a broader community of educators exploring AI across institutions.
Upcoming sessions
- Google GEM-nastics: Flex Your Productivity with Custom AI Gems, Part 1 (April 8, 12–1:15 p.m.): Explore Custom Gemini Gems, specialized AI assistants that can be tailored to your department's specific needs, from navigating policy handbooks to drafting rubrics and managing recurring workflows.
- Putting Your GEM-nastics into Practice, Part 2 (April 29, 11 a.m.–12:15 p.m.): You've built Custom Gemini Gems, now put them to work. This session focuses on implementing Gems into everyday workplace practices and workflows.
Introducing the Incubator Series: Human-AI Partnership Show and Share
Running through April and May, this new series spotlights educators, designers and researchers who aren't just using AI — they're building with it. In a live show-and-share format, presenters walk through what they built, why it works and how you might explore it at your institution. Presenters remain available after each session for follow-up, feedback and collaboration.
