The University of Delaware's Payroll Office has launched UD WorkForce, the University’s new time and attendance system. The system — accessible at www.udel.edu/udworkforce — will significantly improve the user experience and will play an important part of the workday for all employees.

“UD WorkForce is going to greatly improve operational efficiency for everyone,” said Jared Aupperle, interim vice president of human resources. “It offers a seamless experience across devices, saves time and gives managers a much more streamlined workflow with quick, easy access to attendance.”

UD WorkForce replaces UD Time and offers the following enhancements:
• Cloud-based platform
• Convenient dashboard
• Timesheet layout
• Simplified process for time-off requests (TORs)
• TOR approval via email
• Easy access to submitted TORs
• Easy access to leave balances
• Enhanced reporting capabilities
• Ability to delegate

The Payroll Office has been working with a focus group representing colleges and departments campus wide, which provided input throughout the project and who are continuing to help ensure a smooth transition to UD WorkForce.

Training materials are provided on the UD WorkForce web page and several open forums have been scheduled for Zoom via the website noted below. Individuals can join at any time during the session and a member from the UD WorkForce team will be available to answer questions.

• Tuesday, Sept. 8 – Noon-2 p.m.
• Wednesday, Sept. 9 – 10 a.m.-Noon
• Wednesday, Sept. 9 – 2-4 p.m.
• Friday, Sept. 18 – 1-3 p.m.
