Event celebrates launch of new Engineering and Public Policy doctoral program
The University of Delaware is accepting applications for its first class of students in the new Engineering and Public Policy doctoral program. To celebrate the program’s launch, a symposium will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22, in room 007 of Willard Hall. A reception will follow.
The Engineering and Public Policy Mini-Symposium will feature a keynote speech by Alain Kornhauser, professor of operations research and financial engineering and Director of the Transportation Program at Princeton University. Lightning talks will be given by UD experts in fields such as energy, the environment, transportation, infrastructure and smart cities. Attendees can meet affiliated faculty and share opportunities for collaboration and participation.
The Engineering and Public Policy doctoral program is administratively housed and supported by the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering in cooperation with the Biden School of Public Policy and Administration.
