To celebrate the 2019-20 Men’s and Women’s Basketball seasons, University of Delaware Athletics is hosting “Halloween Hoopla” on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at The Bob.

A student tailgate is scheduled from 6-6:45 p.m. with free food and entertainment, followed by the Hoopla event from 7-8 p.m.

Fans will be able to meet both of the teams, as well as watch scrimmages, performances by UD spirit teams, on-court games and contests.

All students will have a chance to win free prizes and giveaways including Apple Air Pods, Beats by Dre, Apple Watch, iPad, Adidas gear packs, Justin Moore tickets and more. All students will receive a free travel mug giveaway.

Faculty and staff in attendance will be entered to win free basketball season tickets.

Special prizes will include $300 for the residence hall with the largest turnout; $300 for the club sport with the largest turnout and $1,000 prize for the IFC/Greek life group with the largest turnout.

Basketball season ticket holders are invited to an exclusive meet and greet before the event and will receive a special giveaway.
