The Partnership for Public Education to host Partnership Academy
The Partnership for Public Education (PPE), part of the University of Delaware's Community Engagement Initiative, will hold its third annual Partnership Academy on Monday, May 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.., at the STAR Tower Audion.
The goal of the meeting is to discuss ways to increase engagement and foster mutually-beneficial and sustained partnerships with schools, from prekindergarten through 12th grade (P12).
The featured speakers include Katrina Morrison, Roderick Carey and William Lewis, who will discuss the benefits of partnership. Those attending can learn about University resources to begin and sustain engagement work from representatives of the Center for Teaching and Assessment of Learning, Community Engagement Initiative and the Research Office.
