University of Delaware faculty and professional academic advisors are invited to attend the fourth annual Blue Hen Advising Conference, to be held Monday, Nov. 19, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Townsend Hall.

The professional development event is for all those on campus who advise undergraduate students or want to learn more about the various resources on campus to support the student population.

Sponsored by the Office of the Provost, the conference will provide a productive day of learning and networking. Dr. Lynn Okagaki, keynote speaker, will kick off the day that includes panel and lecture style presentations on current topics and best practices and a resource fair.

Presentation topics include Self-Care for professionals, UD’s Finish in Four campaign, Career Confidence and Career Readiness, Recovery on a College Campus and UD’s General Education Objectives among many more. Refreshments and lunch are provided.
