March 1: Dining Services job fair

Job fair to feature full-time, part-time, seasonal positions at UD

The University of Delaware’s Dining Services, operated by Aramark, will host a job fair from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Thursday, March 1, in the Ewing Room of the Perkins Student Center.

The job fair -- open to the local community, as well as UD students and alumni – will feature full-time, part-time and seasonal positions. Hiring managers will be on-site to conduct on-the-spot interviews and hire individuals for positions, such as supervisors, sous chefs, chefs, food service workers, bakers, concessions staff, catering servers, utility workers and cashiers.

Many part-time positions are available to students that will provide hands-on, professional experience working for a Fortune 500 company without leaving campus. Experience gained through these positions will be relevant for careers in food service, hotel and restaurant management, sales, retail, operations management, customer service, marketing, communications and more.

Aramark and the University of Delaware’s partnership has thrived since 1991 and employs more than 700 associates. In partnership with UD’s Office of Facilities, Real Estate and Auxiliary Services, Aramark is responsible for the management of all University residential and retail dining operations, campus catering, concessions, convenience stores and vending.

Registration for the fairs is not required. Open positions can be viewed in advance and applied for online. Interested candidates can also email diningservices@udel.edu for more information.
