Recreation offers New Year's savings for students, employees

Fitness options offered during Winter Session

University of Delaware Recreation is offering programs this Winter Session for employees and students.

The New Year New You package, worth more than $100 in savings, includes a baseline fitness assessment; two 30-minute training sessions per week for four weeks (eight sessions total); and one free session with the purchase of a future five- or 10-session package if all are completed by Feb. 9. Cost: $120 for students (a $215 value); $150 for employees (a $265 value). To purchase, click here.

Winter CrossFit: All classes during the first week (Jan. 7-12) will be Basics classes, focusing on skill development and exposure to the basic movements in CrossFit workouts. Classes are perfect for beginners and experienced athletes, focusing on technique to ensure safety and success at the next level. Cost: $75, students; $105, employees and others. Group Fitness: Participate in any of the over 30 classes per week this winter, including Bodypump, cycle, yoga, Pilates, barre, GRIT and more with certified instructors. Winter Intramurals: Registration is open for College Bowl Pick'em until Dec. 14. Winter registration will be open from Dec. 19-Jan. 9. This season's options include basketball, indoor volleyball, dodgeball and indoor soccer. Visit bluehens.com/intramurals for information.
