New University of Delaware faculty, as well as those who may not have worked with the Research Office before, are invited to attend the Research Orientation, “Engaging in Research at UD,” from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 7, in the Alfred Lerner Hall Atrium.

The program includes:

• Remarks from Charlie Riordan, vice president for research, scholarship and innovation;
• A faculty panel discussion on how to launch a successful research program;
• An overview of the Research Office staff and available resources, including from units such as the Library, Office of Communications and Marketing and Corporate and Foundation Relations; and
• A networking lunch (lunch will be provided).
