Register for Alumni Weekend

Online registration now open for ninth Alumni Weekend in June

Online registration for the ninth annual University of Delaware Alumni Weekend is now officially open for all alumni. Donors to the University have already taken advantage of early donor registration.

Scheduled the first weekend in June (Friday to Sunday, June 2 - 4), this year’s Alumni Weekend will return with a lineup of many crowd-favorites like Friday night’s Dela-bration bash; Saturday Brunch with the Mascots and Reunions; and Sunday’s Blue Hen 5K Walk/Run starting with the Kids Fun Run.

Those looking for something new will enjoy a host of events put on by the creative forces in UD’s colleges.  New this year are Wagers and Waffles (Lerner College of Business and Economics), Do2Learn Maker Space (College of Education and Human Development), Celebrate the Arts and Your Brain in Action (College of Arts and Sciences), Geography of Beer (College of Earth, Ocean, and Environment), Chocolate Composites and Cyber Range Live Fire (College of Engineering) and Chef to Farm (College of Agriculture and Natural Resources).  And the Morris Library will be the destination to soak up some canine comfort at Barks and Bagels. In addition, this year Burnaby Munson, who is the C. Eugene Bennett Chair of Chemistry and an icon of the University Honors Program, will be honored as he retires from UD. An ice cream social just for Double Dels is also scheduled.

Alumni are encouraged to reacquaint themselves with Delaware by taking a Student Alumni Ambassador-led tour of main campus, grabbing a scoop of ice cream at the UDairy Creamery, taking a scenic stroll through UD’s Botanic Gardens or visiting the new STAR campus.
