Faculty and staff applications for the University of Delaware Tuition Exchange Program’s (TEP) 2018-19 academic year scholarships are now open. Those interested in applying should do so through the Educational Benefits web form by Oct. 25, 2017.

What You Need To Know

TEP is a reciprocal scholarship opportunity for dependents of eligible faculty and staff at more than 660 Tuition Exchange Inc. member schools nationwide, including the University of Delaware. The consortium grants the TEP scholarships following an extensive review process including evaluation of academic standing.

If a scholarship is awarded, full or partial tuition is waived for a full-time matriculated undergraduate dependent child. A student may be granted a scholarship up to four years. (Submitting an application and subsequent acceptance to a participating school does not guarantee that a TEP scholarship will be awarded.)

Eligibility

To participate in the TEP, UD employees must work full-time and have a minimum of two years of eligible University service as of Oct. 31 of the year in which they submit TEP applications. Retirees who meet University of Delaware age and service requirements are also eligible.

This program may be used in conjunction with the University of Delaware's Tuition Remission program and counts toward the maximum two requests for that program.

How To Apply

• Log into web forms

• Select “BEN Education Benefits”

• In the menu choice, choose Tuition Exchange Program. (Dependent children may apply to one or more participating institutions). Additional schools may be selected by sending an email to hrhelp@udel.edu.

Lottery

A scholarship lottery drawing will be held on Oct. 27, at 12:15 p.m. at 413 Academy St. To be included in the lottery, participants must submit a TEP web form by Oct. 25. Attendance at the drawing is optional.
