Three-day resource fair to help graduates transition from students to alumni
All University of Delaware seniors are encouraged to attend the “Life After UD” grad resource fair held on the 2nd floor of the UD Barnes & Noble Bookstore during cap and gown pick-up.
The three-day event will help graduates learn about the resources available to them as they transition from students to alumni.
Resource representatives will be on hand from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Wednesday through Friday, April 12-14.
Attendees are encouraged to visit every table to learn more about the resources available from:
• Graduation Information/Office of the Vice President and University Secretary
• Homecoming and Alumni Weekend
• Kaplan
• Nationwide
• Regional and Affinity Alumni Clubs
• Senior Class Gift
• SCPAB/Senior Fling
• UD Alumni Association (UDAA)
• UD Athletics
• UD Career Services Center
• UD Office of Communications and Marketing (OCM)
• UD Recreation Services
• Volunteer Admissions Support Team
Seniors who complete the “Life After UD” game card by visiting every table will receive a UD alumni gift and will be entered to win one of the following prizes:
1. Box seats at Commencement
2. Admission to one Development and Alumni Relations hosted event: Homecoming OR Alumni Weekend
3. $50 Barnes and Noble gift card for UD gear, which can be used at UDalumnishop.com (courtesy of UDAA)
4. Kaplan Prep Course
5. $50 Amazon gift card (courtesy of Nationwide)
6. Admission to a Regional Alumni Club event in a city near you
7. Delaware Blue Hens Football season tickets (for two)
8. 3-month membership to the Little Bob

In addition, Balfour will be selling class rings, Lifetouch will be on hand to schedule senior portrait sessions, Framing for Success will have diploma frames on display, and Commencement Flowers will be selling Class of 2017 T-shirts. UDairy ice cream will also be available courtesy of the event host, the UD Barnes and Noble Bookstore.
