NPR's Montanaro, Sanders to open 'Road to Presidency' series
University of Delaware alumnus Domenico Montanaro, supervising political editor for National Public Radio, and NPR correspondent Sam Sanders will be featured as the fall National Agenda “Road to the Presidency” series opens at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 7, in Mitchell Hall.
All National Agenda events are free and open to the public.
Montanaro, a 2001 UD graduate, is National Public Radio’s lead editor for politics and digital audiences. Before joining NPR in 2015, he served as political director and senior producer for politics and law at PBS NewsHour.
Sanders is a reporter for NPR’s Washington desk and also co-hosts the NPR Politics podcast.
The director of the series is Lindsay Hoffman, associate director of UD's Center for Political Communication and associate professor of communication.
National Agenda 2016 is supported by the William P. Frank Foundation of Delaware and UD’s College of Arts and Sciences and Office of the Provost.
