Testing

Testing on and near campus

  • Symptomatic testing is available to all students at Student Health Services by appointment only.

  • The University continues to provide rapid antigen test kits at several locations on campus -- the Trabant University Center, the Perkins Student Center, the Carpenter Sports Building, Laurel Hall (Student Health Services), Clayton Hall and STAR Tower. To request a test kit, please complete the University’s webform and take the confirmation email to one of the distribution points. Students, faculty and staff are highly encouraged to utilize a rapid antigen test before leaving campus for breaks and before returning.

  • The U.S. government has reopened its home testing program for COVID-19. Every U.S. household may place orders to receive up to eight free COVID-19 rapid tests that are delivered directly to your home or residence hall. Need help placing an order for your at-home tests? Call 1-800-232-0233 (TTY 1-888-720-7489).

  • Members of the UD community can acquire at-home rapid antigen tests at multiple retail locations. Also, testing is available locally at the State of Delaware State Service Center (501 Ogletown Road); CVS pharmacy (45 East Main Street); and Rite Aid pharmacy (263 South Main Street and 399 New London Road).
