APA-Accredited Doctoral Internship in Health Service Psychology

The doctoral internship at the University of Delaware is designed to provide supervised experience in individual and group counseling, outreach, crisis services, consultation and practicum supervision. Candidates must be enrolled in an APA or CPA accredited doctoral program in counseling, clinical or closely related area of psychology.

The Who

  • A staff of more than 25 multidisciplinary, full-time clinicians who are passionate about training
  • A triad of leaders—Katie Bekkeli, Brad Wolgast and Lauren Bauer—dedicated to the oversight of the training program. Together we have:
    • Three Board Certifications
    • Twelve different UCC experiences
    • Twenty-six years (and counting!) at the University of Delaware alone
    • More than 42 years of experience providing supervision and training
    • An infinite number of random facts and bad jokes
