Pregnancy Options

Pregnancy Options

If you find out that you are pregnant, there are a variety of options that you can consider:

  • Continuing the pregnancy and raising the baby.
  • Continuing the pregnancy and placing the baby for adoption.
  • Ending the pregnancy by medical or surgical abortion.

For more information on your options, please visit the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

While You Decide What to Do

  • It is recommended that you start a prenatal vitamin containing 600 micrograms of folic acid to protect against certain birth defects.
  • Refrain from drinking alcohol, smoking, vaping, or using drugs. Discuss any over-the-counter or prescription medications with a healthcare provider.
