All distance learning students who are not living in Delaware will take their UD Online exams via ProctorU.
Full-time, campus-based University of Delaware students take their exams at the UD Online Testing Center.

ProctorU Virtual Testing
ProctorU is a live, online proctoring service that lets you take exams from home using a webcam and microphone. UD assigns students to use ProctorU under certain criteria.
You’ll need:
- A working computer (Windows XP or higher, or Mac OS X or higher) with webcam & mic. Chromebooks are not compatible.
- Headphones or speakers.
- Reliable high-speed internet (minimum ~768 Kbps down / 384 Kbps up).
- Be able to allow remote access to your screen by the proctor.
Visit ProctorU to learn more about the technical requirements for remotely proctored exams.
- Make an account on ProctorU if you haven’t already. Schedule the exam at least 72 hours in advance. Use a private, secure location for the exam (no one else present). Libraries or coffee shops are not allowed. Have a government-issued photo ID ready (driver’s license, passport, etc.). Turn off phones and remove distractions.
