Testing Hours:

  • Tues. (9 a.m.-5 p.m.) 
  • Wed.-Thurs. (9 a.m.-8 p.m.)
  • Fri. (9 a.m.-5 p.m.)

Parking:

  • Free parking is available.
  • Do not park in reserved spaces for other businesses located at 850 Library Avenue. Students who park in reserved spaces may be towed or fined.

Overview of Steps:

  1. Go to the UD Exam Registration Portal.
  2. If you do not sign in with your udel email and are booking a University of Delaware exam, you will be asked to do so before the registration is processed.
  3. Select the term.
  4. Choose your course.
  5. Choose your professor.
  6. Choose an exam.
  7. Indicate the date you would like to take your exam. The dates the exam is offered will be in bold on the calendar.
  8. Indicate the time you would like to take your exam. Available times during operating hours will appear in a dropdown list.
  9. Read the testing center rules carefully and check the box that you agree to the guidelines.
  10. Click the Add to Cart button.
  11. View your cart and click the Complete Registration button.
  12. Once you have logged in, click My Exams in the top right menu to view or change your registration.

Note:

  • Appointments are necessary, and you must show a valid government-issued photo ID every time you come to test. Exams are scheduled through the UD Online Exam Portal.
  • All exams must be completed by closing time.
  • Extended hours are offered during some weeks. Check with our scheduling system for available appointments.
  • You must schedule each of your exams and arrive within 15 minutes of the time of your appointment.  Failure to do so may result in being asked to come back another day or having to seek your professor’s permission to reschedule your exam for another week. What to bring:

  • All pens, pencils, scrap paper and calculators as allowable by the professor are available at the Testing Center. Students may bring their own whiteboards and markers as an alternative to scrap paper.

  • Bring a valid government-issued photo ID or you will not be permitted to take your exam.

 

Regarding student personal items: EXERCISE CAUTION

  • Small lockers available—Small lockers are provided for students to store personal items while they are completing exams.

  • Large items discouraged—Large laptops or bookbags cannot be accommodated, and Testing Center staff cannot hold these items.

  • No watches or fitness trackers—No watches or fitness trackers are permitted in the Testing Center.

  • No jackets or coats—No jackets, hoodies, coats, scarves, bandanas, hats or sunglasses are permitted in the Testing Center.

  • Removal of suspicious items—Testing Center staff have the right to request any suspicious items (besides the ones specifically listed) be removed at any time.

  • Missing or stolen items—UD and Testing Center staff are not responsible for missing or stolen items.
