Overview of Steps:

  • Appointments are necessary—Exams are scheduled using the link found at the bottom of this webpage.
  • Be punctual—A student’s allotted exam time will be reduced by the number of minutes the student is late.

What to bring:

  • Bring a valid government-issued photo ID or you will not be permitted to take your exam.

  • Storage bins are provided for cell phones and small personal items.

Q: How do I know which testing center I’m assigned to?

You’ll receive an assignment email at the start of the term telling you your testing center (Newark, Dover, Georgetown, etc.). If you didn’t get it, email udonline-exams@udel.edu.

Q: How do I schedule my exam appointment?

Go to the UD Exam Registration Portal to schedule exams in Dover, Georgetown, and Newark. Distance students assigned to ProctorU schedule through UD’s ProctorU Portal.

Q: What should I consider when scheduling an exam?

  • Know the Testing Center’s operating hours. 
  • Leave time for parking, storing belongings, checking in. 
  • For longer exams near closing time, schedule earlier so you can finish before closing.
