The UD Climate Change Hub community includes faculty, students, university and statewide programs working to address climate change challenges.
The Delaware Resilient And Sustainable Communities League (RASCL) is a collaborative network of 28 state agencies, nonprofits, and academic institutions that supports Delaware communities in taking the necessary actions to thrive in the face of a rapidly changing climate.
The network carries out its mission through collaboration, information-sharing forums, and technical assistance. It also fosters networking and professional development. Signature efforts include the annual RASCL Summit and the Project Guidance Group, an initiative that provides free technical advice to communities on how to get a project started or overcome roadblocks.
The network is currently seeking more members for its Science Research Liaison committee, which strives to highlight current research related to climate resilience, sustainability, and emergency management and elevate community research needs.

For over 15 years, several programs at the University of Delaware have focused on monitoring the environment and developing applications to aid decision making and improve Delaware’s ability to respond to extreme weather and climate events. Recognizing that these programs shared a lot of similar goals and needs for supporting infrastructure, the Center for Environmental Monitoring Analysis (CEMA) was formed in 2017 to streamline support for these programs.
