The One Idea, One Slide Summit provides an open and collaborative forum for faculty and staff to share their exciting ideas that advance academic excellence in research, education and impact. Ideas are encouraged from across campus, with the intent of identifying opportunities while simultaneously leveraging a community approach to potential solutions.
THANKS FOR A GREAT 2026 Summit!
The 2026 Summit was held Friday, May 15, in Mitchell Hall, with more than 75 ideas presented.
Previous One Idea, One Slide Summit materials
The inaugural One Idea, One Slide Summit was held in May 2023. Since then, more than 400 contributors have been part of nearly 200 proposals to a University audience using one slide and a two-minute fast pitch. The results have been incredible, with so many interesting and creative ideas.
The Summit has become the perfect opportunity for the audience and presenters to network and identify partnerships and synergies. Each idea presented had a pathway to move forward, matching the right resources and support to their goals.
