Nominations sought for teaching, advising awards

Teaching nominations due Feb. 2, advising nominations due March 2

Nominations are now open for the University of Delaware’s Excellence in Teaching Award for faculty and graduate students and the Excellence in Undergraduate Advising and Mentoring Award.

Nominations for the teaching award are due Feb. 2, and nominations for the advising award are due March 2. Nominations received after these deadlines will be held for consideration next year.

These highly competitive awards honor outstanding faculty members and graduate students, and nominations from current and past students receive particular attention.

Up to four Excellence in Teaching Awards for faculty, each with a stipend of $5,000, and up to two Excellence in Teaching Awards for graduate students, each with a stipend of $1,500, will be given this year. Up to four Excellence in Undergraduate Advising Awards, each with a stipend of $5,000, will also be given.
