‘January Explorations’ free OLLI mini-courses

UD and community invited to sample free online mini-classes Jan. 13-23
The UD community and the public are invited to learn more about classes and activities at the University of Delaware’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) program for adults age 50-plus by attending OLLI’s free online mini-semester, Jan. 13-23.
More than 30 free online mini-courses will be offered as part of OLLI’s January Explorations series, presented by OLLI’s volunteer instructors on topics in art, nature, history, current events, literature, health and more.
The online series is free and open to the public. OLLI membership is not required.
Sample topics include:
- History of American Whiskey
- TED Talks and Trivia
- Literary Anniversary: Agatha Christie
- Physiology of Sleep
- Frontiers for Healthy Aging
- MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction)
- Ellen Dupont, Robert Wheelwright and the Goodstay Estate
- Sustainability Solutions
- Climate Change and Delaware
- Great Songs for the Movies
- Magic With Math
The Zoom-based courses are free, but registration is required.
In addition to January Explorations, OLLI is planning over 300 courses this spring in Dover, Lewes, Ocean View, Wilmington and online. Spring registration begins Jan. 5, and classes start Feb. 2.
