Tech Talk Tuesday: Citizen Science

Registration is open for the Nov. 18 session

What do you get when you combine scientific research, student participation and technology? Citizen Science! Tech Talk Tuesday is proud to present our November session, Citizen Science, where UD faculty and staff will share their experiences implementing this research method in which students use transformative technologies to gather and contribute data. This session, we welcome:

  • Zoubeida Dagher (College of Education and Human Development)
  • Pamela Mosley (College of Arts and Sciences)
  • Chris Petrone, David Christopher, and Kevin Brinson (College of Earth, Ocean and Environment)

They’ll explore ways that Citizen Science can enhance student learning and help shape public policy.

Date: Tuesday, Nov. 18
Time: 12:30–2 p.m.
Location: 116 Pearson Hall

Connect with colleagues, gain new ideas, and explore a different facet of teaching and technology. Lunch will be provided courtesy of ITUE and ATS. Thank you to ITUE for their sponsorship.
