Community-Centered Science Communication Workshop

UD graduate students invited to workshop on communicating with research with community

Join the Partnership for Healthy Communities and the graduate student organization Community Connectors for this interactive session designed specifically for graduate students engaged in community-led research on Monday, Nov. 17, at 1:30 p.m. in the 313 Conference Room of the Tower at STAR.

This workshop offers a supportive space to strengthen your science communication skills and explore how to meaningfully connect your research with the communities it serves.

Through real-world case studies and hands-on activities, participants will:

  • Explore 10 evidence-based recommendations for communicating science clearly and effectively.
  • Learn how to adapt communication strategies for different audiences and contexts.
  • Practice translating your own research into accessible, community-centered language.

Registration is required.

Questions can be directed to Kate Culhane-Suluai, program manager with the Partnership for Healthy Communities at kcsuluai@udel.edu.
