The 2025 John R. Mather Visiting Scholars Lecture will be given by Jonathan T. Overpeck, the Samuel A. Graham Dean at the University of Michigan's School for Environment and Sustainability. The talk will focus on how climate change is a growing global challenge that requires building a more sustainable and just world. It appears that the planet is being pushed closer to climate tipping points, but there are many reasons to have hope. The talk will take place on Thursday, Nov. 6, at 5 p.m. at the Gore Recital Hall in the Roselle Center for the Arts. A reception will follow in the Lerner Atrium.
