Campus partners invited to submit IEW activities

The Center for Global Programs and Services (CGPS) invites campus partners to help the University of Delaware celebrate International Education Week from Nov. 13 to 17 with internationally focused programming that showcases UD’s global communities, connections and cultural identities.

International Education Week (IEW), an annual initiative sponsored by the U.S. Departments of State and Education that celebrates the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide, is part of the nationwide effort to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn and exchange experiences.

As the University celebrates the 100th anniversary of study abroad, this year's IEW is an ideal time to celebrate the many ways UD continues to lead in international education. Colleges, units and student groups are invited to submit event information on the 2023 IEW event form or by tagging your event as “iew” in the tag section and "Global" in the event type section of the UD Events Calendar. IEW events will be highlighted on a special IEW at UD webpage, poster, and on social media.
