Generative AI (GenAI) experienced a boom in 2022 with highlights such as the releases of Stable Diffusion for image generation and ChatGPT for conversational text generation. In one year, GenAI has rapidly evolved and expanded. GenAI technologies and systems have revolutionized various business sectors, leading to the need for education to adapt and prepare the future workforce.

Harry Wang, professor of management information systems at UD's Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics, is leading a GenAI workshop on Tuesday, Nov. 28, from 2-4 p.m. in the Alfred Lerner Hall Atrium. A reception will follow. Register online.

Attendees will learn:

  • Basic understanding of the key areas in GenAI
  • Basic knowledge on industry best practices on GenAI applications and implementations
  • Practical skills on prompt engineering, text2image, and image2image
  • Awareness of current GenAI challenges and issues
