Dark comedy comes to the REP

'Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You' runs March 8-12

Is dark comedy your cup of tea? Then check out the University of Delaware's Resident Ensemble Players' ChamberREP production of Christopher Durang’s play Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You, which runs March 8-12, at the Roselle Center for the Arts.

In her lecture, Sister Mary explains her strict beliefs and warns of all the perils of sin. Her lecture takes an unexpected turn as four of her former pupils arrive: one a happily unwed mother, one an alcoholic, one a content homosexual, and one who's had an abortion.

What’s a good nun to do when her flock has strayed so far from the path of righteousness?

Deeply unsettling and absolutely hilarious, this comedy explores some sharp truths about human nature and religion. Tickets are only $15.
