Inaugural Open Teaching Day

Faculty open their classrooms to celebrate engaged teaching

The University of Delaware's Center for Teaching and Assessment of Learning (CTAL) is hosting the first Open Teaching Day, titled, "Starting Off With a Bang! Student Engagement in Introductory Courses," on Wednesday, Sept. 13. Designed to elevate the visibility of engaged teaching on UD's campus, members of our teaching and leadership community are invited to sit in for up to two courses from a list that includes: Introduction to Public Health, Elementary Organic Chemistry, US History to 1865, Introduction to Physical Science and Astronomy, Introduction to Criminal Justice, Intermediate Algebra, and Introduction to Art History. Be in the room where great teaching happens. Participants will end the day at a wrap-party where they can engage in discussion with all participating faculty and campus teaching leadership.
